FEATURES:
CONSTRUCTION
The machine frame is made of heavy-duty plate and ribbed to minimize vibration and deflection.

TABLE AND CONVEYOR BELT
The table is supported by heavy-duty jack screws. The high-quality conveyor belt is controlled with an auto-tracking assembly.

SANDING BELT
The tracking of the sanding belt is achieved using a photoelectric cell.

CONTACT DRUM
It is Insulated with heavy-duty rubber. In addition to standard 75 (or 60) shore hardness drums, there are also models with hardness varying from 50 to 90 shore.

PRESSURE ROLLER
The spring-loaded steel hold down roller is mounted at the infeed and outfeed of the machine to ensure positive feeding.

AUTOMATIC BRAKING
The air disc brakes will stop the machine if the emergency stop or limit switch is tripped. The machine will automatically stop is the power is turned off.

SAFETY MEASURES
All machines are provided with a number of safeguards.
-Emergency stop button
-Belt tracking limit switch
-Safety bar
-Automatically stops when the power is cut off

AUTOMATIC BELT TRACKING
An air cylinder is fitted under the conveyor belt table that automatically controls the conveyor belt, keeping it on track at all times.

CONVENIENT THICKNESS MEASURING DEVICE
Simply place a workpiece on the sample rest. Press the table elevation button and when the workpiece touches the limit switch, the thickness will be measured and displayed.

CENTRALIZED CONTROL PANEL
All operational controls are grouped for easy operation. An ammeter is provided on the control panel to indicate percentage of full motor load.

  • Combination contact drum and platen (P type)
  • Multi-head configuration (CP type)
CONVENIENT BELT CHANGE AND TENSIONING
  • Quick-release head support for easy belt change.
  • Belt tension adjustment by simply turning the switch.

VARIABLE SPEED FEED RATE
The conveyor feed speed is infinitely adjustable by turning a speed selector knob. This feature is suited for sanding various types of wood materials.

SENSITIVE BELT CONTROL

  • A photoelectric cell controls sanding belt oscillations.
  • Machine automatically stops in case of belt breakage or insufficient air pressure.
  • Cylinder speed regulation is conveniently achieved.

TOUCH-SENSITIVE EMERGENCY STOP BAR
There is a bar placed in the position where the operator normally stands should an emergency occur.

DISC BRAKING MECHANISM
Provides a positive and instant stop to the machine in the event of belt mis-track, breakage or in the event of the body-activated emergency stop bar being activated.
